'Norman is teased at school for having a long middle toe which made him clumsy. When he finds out that his abnormally long toe is a superpower that could save the planet from perils ahead, he is very surprised.
I love this book beacause of how unpredictable it is - even in the last chapter there were surprises. From this I have learned that we are one of the biggest threats to our planet.
'This book is great fun for adults and children (and dogs!). Really well thought out characters in a fabulously fun setting which is described so well you can picture it. A book that is definitely worth owning!'
'To Sue - thank you very much for Norman Snodgrass. Looking forward for Norman Snodgrass Over the Moon and I like when one said 'we will need a lot more dung!'
'What a delightful book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Suitable for younger and older readers. Adored the characters and loved the way the environmental issues were dealt with. I want a Reversible Minky. I think it would make a really nice animated children's tv show.' Penny O'D.
Love, love, love this book, could not put it down (and I am in my fifties!) so suitable for any age group. Wonderfully written, imaginitive and fun with lots of details which were not lost on me. If this is Sue's first book where has she been hiding I ask? Hoping to see lots more and would certainly recommend to readers of any age. Beautifully illustrated and a great read all round. Go Sue!' Roberty.
'Our daughters have been entranced by this beautifully written book. The characters are unconventional and written with warmth, the plot had plenty of twists to keep us lookiinjg forward to the next chapter. This might be the perfect introduction into sci-fi!' VK.
